Grandaisy Bakery is hiring a full-time Retail Bakeshop Manager

Our retail bakeshop manager will be responsible for basic store operations as well as hiring and coaching retail staff, developing and following through on inspired social media marketing initiatives. 


Retail Bakeshop and Barista Manager responsibilities include the following:

  • Master knowledge of our product line, philosophy, bakeshop operations, and overall company structure and systems. 
  • Work hands-on to develop a retail team to meet the staffing needs of our retail bakeshop including hiring, training, and scheduling.
  • Promote and improve merchandising of our product and brand to enhance sales and convey our company vision.
  • Prepare espresso based drinks, coffee and tea (both hot and iced).
  • Achieve sales goals and financial objectives.
  • Meet regularly with our management team to establish and follow up on yearly and quarterly priorities.
  • Develop and follow through on social media and other marketing initiatives and promotions.

Knowledge & skills our ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 3 years experience in a retail sales environment with increasing levels of responsibility and strong working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to effectively direct, coach, and train others in a retail setting
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to address employees and customers with confidence and purpose
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and overcome issues in a professional manner
  • Flexible work schedule including the ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as operational need may require
  • Experience with Point of Sales Systems; basic computer skills and familiarity with social media.
